a note on the role of links

This is a brief overview of some of the non-music, non-marketing sites linked to from 1sp and the role they’ll play in the overall use of the blog.

Issues like global warming are to my generation what slavery, civil rights, and imminent nuclear winter have been to previous generations. Culture and the extent to which more individuals play a role in the creation of it has changed drastically in 150 or 50 or 30 years, as has the popularity of music.

Al Gore will have his huge global warming shows this summer, but I think there’s a way to involve issues like carbon neutral into marketing campaigns & the links will be cited regularly.

world resources institute: an environmental think tank that goes beyond research to find practical ways to protect the earth and improve people’s lives.

zerofootprint: mission is to change the world by helping people reduce their environmental footprint.
