Yesterday I had a brief post on Engadget reporting Apple was delaying the release of the iPhone until October, which turned out to be false, and linked to the a page showing the impact on Apple’s stock price.

Interestingly enough, today on

Textually there was this related post, originally reported by Mad4MobilePhones, on how Engadget’s news story moved Apple’s stock price 2.2%.

Kind of tough for Apple to lay the hammer on Engadget, all things considered, particularly with acknowledgement to the over $400 million in free press the announcement of this soon to be released consumer product.
