Publishers Promoting Books With Trailers & Telling the Story (Behind the Story) With Videocasts

A while back I had a post related to transforming fan culture into user-generated content, which I was reminded of over the weekend when discussing the Scholastic brand and its appeal/recognition among the youth of America.

Cross-Media/Transmedia Entertainment has a few great posts on how video trailers are now being made to promote books (Harper Collins/VidLit)& video podcasts are being created to tell the story behind the story (BookVideos/Penguin Podcast).
