More Music from Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ It’s Blitz!

I shared “Zero”, the first single from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ new album It’s Blitz!, not too long ago and, now that the album has leaked, I might as well post a few more from their follow-up to 2006’s Show Your Bones.

Thankfully, It’s Blitz! will not be featuring any ‘production’ (bells, whistles, other reminders that scream ‘hey, everybody, someone is learning Pro Tools!’) by that someone’s brother behind that N.A.S.A. mess and is instead produced by the always professional David Andrew Sitek (of TV on the Radio fame, as well as producing the YYYs Fever to Tell LP and Yeah Yeah Yeahs EP) and Nick Launay.

It’s Blitz! is set for a March 31st release, here’s the track listing:

  1. “Zero” – 4:25
  2. “Heads Will Roll” – 3:41
  3. “Soft Shock” – 3:53
  4. “Skeletons” – 5:02
  5. “Dull Life” – 4:08
  6. “Shame and Fortune” – 3:31
  7. “Runaway” – 5:13
  8. “Dragon Queen” (Featuring Tunde Adebimpe) – 4:02
  9. “Hysteric” – 3:50
  10. “Little Shadow” – 3:57

  1. I love “Heads Will Roll.” Looking forward to the album officially dropping. And I hope they eventually swing through Michigan on tour.
