Gorillaz “On Melancholy Hill”

Here’s my favorite jam from the new Gorillaz album Plastic Beach, its “On Melancholy Hill” and its the album’s third single. And I’ll share another song from a different Damon Albarn project The Good, The Bad & The Queen which featured Paul Simonon from The Clash, Simon Tong from The Verve and Tony Allen.

  1. I’m not so sure about this album… I still like Blur better.

  2. I’m with you, Diego, Blur with Graham Coxon…

  3. I thought this album was pretty gutsy and a step away from what we’re used to hearing, but I still loved it.

  4. Right on. I was actually reading the other night and saw that this song was originally part of The Good, The Bad & The Queen project: http://gorillaz-news.livejournal.com/318417.html

totally makes sense, I thought there was some familiarity.
